He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less. He has come from above and is greater than anyone else. We are of the earth, and we speak of earthly things, but he has come from heaven and is greater than anyone else - John 3:30-31

Yeildedness is a prerequisite for fullness. Everyone who has received the Holy Spirit has within him, great possibilities and unlimited power. Just think of magnitude of the manifestation of power at the Beautiful gate in Acts 3:2-10; "As they approached the Temple, a man lame from birth was being carried in. Each day he was put beside the Temple gate, the one called the Beautiful Gate, so he could beg from the people going into the Temple. When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for some money. Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, “Look at us!”The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting some money. But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene get up and walk!”Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened. He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them. All the people saw him walking and heard him praising God. 10 When they realized he was the lame beggar they had seen so often at the Beautiful Gate, they were absolutely astounded!"

Amazing uh? Yes I agree! We have access to that kind of power and that's not even all. Everyone who has received the Holy Spirit within him also has great possession, not only of the things that are present but also of the things that are to come. The reason people are not equipped is that they do not receive Him and do not yield to Him! You've got to give it all over to Him and let him add His super to your natural. This reminds me of the lyrics of Carrie Underwood's song "Jesus Take The Wheel"

She was driving last Friday on her way to Cincinnati on a snow white Christmas Eve. Going home to see her mama and her daddy with the baby in the backseat. Fifty miles to go, and she was running low on faith and gasoline. It'd been a long hard year. She had a lot on her mind, and she didn't pay attention. She was going way too fast. Before she knew it she was spinning on a thin black sheet of glass. She saw both their lives flash before her eyes. She didn't even have time to cry. She was so scared. She threw her hands up in the air.
Jesus, take the wheel. Take it from my hands 'cause I can't do this on my own. I'm letting go, so give me one more chance and save me from this road I'm on. Jesus, take the wheel.
It was still getting colder when she made it to the shoulder and the car came to a stop. She cried when she saw that baby in the backseat sleeping like a rock and for the first time in a long time, she bowed her head to pray. She said, "I'm sorry for the way I've been living my life. I know I've got to change, so from now on tonight, Jesus, take the wheel. Take it from my hands 'cause I can't do this on my own. I'm letting go, so give me one more chance and save me from this road I'm on...."

Imagine if she hadn't let go of the wheel and continued to struggle to control the car. The end results would have been catastrophic! If you yield to His leading and do not doubt, He will lead you to success and victory. You will grow in grace and be able to access your inheritance among the sanctified. The steps you take in God will determine your growth. The Holy Spirit is the advantage of the believer. He makes up for your inadequacies and gives you an edge in life. As you yield to Him, you begin to experience a higher level of sensitivity and productivity. May we all yield to the Hold Spirit and grow in the knowledge of him so we can access His fullness in every area of our lives in Jesus name. Amen!
