The Lord will fight for you, and you shall holdyour peace.” And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. (Exodus 14:14-16).

As a Christian or a believer in Jesus Christ our Lord savior of the world, you live either in fear of in faith. You cannot live in both. If eventually you are constantly living in fear, faith will find its square root in your life and keep loitering around you for you to realize. If you choose fear you will live your entire life not fully experiencing the great satisfaction of taking awesome risks for God. Life is a risk in itself and if you must live to the fullest and satisfy life you must live by faith.

Fear is a good formula for entertaining failure; it brings stubbornness and makes you skeptical about all things around you. You will find yourself doing some things you are comfortable with only which might not bring satisfaction that you truly need.

Fear causes you to retreat, to turn around and go back to where you will be captured into slavery. Remember the children of Israel; how fear grip them and told Moses to return them back to Egypt where suffering is inevitable. But God delivered them eventually and they move on in the journey to the Promised Land.

Fear make you hold out when God says launch out into the deep where there is no greener pasture, fear makes huge destiny comes to an abrupt end. It is very possible to replace such fear with faith by just taking risks and leaving everything else to God to take over. Look at when Jesus walk on water and Jesus told Peter to come but observing the winds and things around him make him to start sinking until Jesus launch His out and saved him.

Every man who refuses to take risk is not ready to be rich in life. Every step of life is a risk in all. Anything that requires faith always come with a risk it, don’t get it twisted; if you claim you have faith and does not take risks, you are still a child.

The Bible says “Buy the truth and sell it not, also the same way wisdom, instructions, and understanding” Proverb 23:23. God wants to work in our life, but we have to let go of the past, before we can lay hold on the future. The future might become miles to reach if you keep holding on to the past. Let go of self made insecurity and grab God’s opportunity.

A word is enough for the wise. Take it and use it wisely. Thank you for reading.
