It is with great pleasure that I present Week 003 of my curation project to the Whaleshares Community!

 
How does The Phoenix 🌟 Project work?
 
Well, just as the legendary Phoenix, when in her last few moments of life, is finally reborn from her ashes, so do I give "renewed life" to under-valued, unappreciated posts on the Whaleshares platform that are 13 days old, by giving them a boost using tokens sponsored by dBread, Whalecoin and Pixel before the final 14-day mark.

Woah! What a week! I'm very happy to welcome @pixel as a new sponsor to this project! With their added support, I am now able to reach 60 posts per week, up from 40 posts last week. And I must say, it feels wonderful. I've been getting very grateful thank-you messages from almost everyone. I curated 8-9 posts a day.

The max. value of posts eligible was 50WLS and I upshared all posts at the same percentage (5% dbread, 4-3% whalecoin and 4% Pixel) which gave them a reward of ~63WLS.

This project is all about discovering posts that are about to pay out but have very little in the way of rewards. The quality of each post is taken into account but I'm not as strict with that as many other curation projects usually are. This is mainly because the aim of the Phoenix Project is to help the Whaleshares platform grow by giving bloggers that little extra boost of encouragement and keeping them on the platform. They are given the benefit of the doubt, because I've already seen it happen: People get better at posting. They raise their own bars. And actual spammers eventually just give up because people don't buy their shit. So if you check out anyone featured here today and feel they could do better, please do leave a comment on their stuff and be encouraging.
 
Also, my general rule is not to curate the same person in a 14-day period, but at least for now while Whaleshares is still relatively small, this has proven difficult.}
