5. The ROD In Your Hands

To each person God gave unique traits and abilities to do exploits. Every individual was created for a specific purpose and until you actualize that purpose on earth, you couldn’t exactly say you’ve lived a fulfilled life. There’s a rod in your hands, have you been using it? This rod is a metaphor for that/those unique gift(s) deposited inside of you by God. This rod is what you can use to part all red sea in order to walk through. According to @Ammyluv, the rod in your hands is not something you acquire from the university or something you were taught to do by others. It is an innate gift that God has given to us individually.

“David was created to serve the people of Israel as a king. It didn’t just happen, God had already deposited something special which he used to get to that throne. He deposited the gift of singing in the life of David, and it was that talent that got him to the palace.”
