So People...Have You Revised Your Crypto Vision For The Future? What Is In Store For Us In Your Opinion?

So many in the cryptosphere seem down right now, just like the value of their once precious coins and tokens...

What is your opinion of where we are heading?

It would be foolish to always keep the faith if we genuinely happened across sincere, "backed by facts" information that suggested we were heading to hell in a handbag...Blind faith is the fuel for all those Scientology ships that are heading into intergalactic territory after all!!

But it would be equally foolhardy to decide that all hope is lost based on some second hand reports and wild speculation from some guy in a forum, right? Or because some second-rate backbench politician suggested that crypto in general was a poor idea...Far be it from me to suggest that our evil overlords governments did not have our best interests at heart right? I mean they've always proved so trustworthy in the past

So where is the middle ground?

Well, I could tell you to do great research in the upcoming developments and announcements from the devs and creators and the teams behind the coins and platforms and I could suggest reading the thoughts of and listening to the impartial authorities on the subject, blah blah blah...

I'm not suggesting that is bad advice or not a sensible approach...But I am ordinary working class guy to whom this crypto malarkey is all a bit strange and mysterious right now and although I am studying and exploring, I have zero clue who is genuinely impartial and some of the explanations of proof of work, proof of stake and such leave me baffled and don't even get me started on understanding the inbuilt inflationary mechanism that many crypto's have...I simply don't get it yet!

Up-to this point I have based my decisions and opinions on an instinctive, intuitive hunch and my sensing a zeitgeist in the way the world thinks and feels and I believe crypto and blockchain tech have a real role to perform in the future world to an extent that we cannot even begin to envisage right now.

And I do understand community, the need to belong, to connect, to feel a part of something worthwhile and bigger than us, a collective that is far greater than the sum of it's parts. Oh man I completely understand and feel that aspect all too well.

My great hope as many of you have heard me say so often that it probably just sounds like droning on by now is of a truly altruistic community forming in earnest here. Based on the principle that I oft use of a dollar a day...To many of us a dollar is a tiny insignificant amount but to many on the planet it is the very real difference between feast and famine, poverty or comfort, healthcare treatment and uhm...Illness and potentially even Death!

Over dramatic? I think not...

The things we could achieve if we dared to believe. The people we could lift out of abstract poverty. The people who have no hope at all in some of the most ravaged, war-torn, impoverished regions of the world could have their hellish existence transformed if we made a decision that became a commitment. Not just by way of donation either. After all, if we schooled some of these people in the use of crypto based reward blogging, they could work from cyber-cafes, community halls, colleges, what if we formed a collective that actually provided the equipment for them to do so? I am not suggesting that any of us have the obligation to help others, just that if enough of us chose to and leveraged our resources, time, money and other we could make genuine transformative strides for some of the people mentioned.

It is fine if some people want to earn the lions share for themselves and their families and donate fractional amounts to a far bigger pool too. 1% of a thousand peoples earnings here could do a lot of good, right?

But I digress (as ever), I am just exploring some of the myriad of possibilities available to us if we were so inclined, to illustrate some of the awesome potential.

Most of us realise that the situation regarding the depressed nature of the crypto-market is due to the analysts bloody-minded obsession with pairing all condescendingly named alt-coins with the big BTC, after all Walmarts share price is not discussed in relation to that of Apple and I see this situation as one akin to that. If we accept this sober minded rationale that In my opinion is one based completely from a perspective of common sense then why would we really be worried about the nature of the crypto market as a whole?

There are many naysayers with regard to the validity and those that even question the legality of crypto. I would always be entirely skeptical about the reasons behind this view especially when it is being given from a very public platform. Who is propagating this opinion really? The corporate sponsored media? The governments and banksters who have always had a totalitarian stranglehold on creating currency that never really existed in the first place? Those on Wall Street, who look condescendingly over their 5000 dollar ray-bans at a new and exciting marketplace that has the very real potential to knock the starched creases from their hand made Italian designer shirts? This condescension is an illusion, it hides a very real fear of an industry that fears the fate of the dinosaurs befalling it.

Back to the matter in hand...I want to know what YOU think!

Speak now or forever be left holding the bag...Please do jump in on this one I really want to know how people feel about the future of crypto in general, especially those backed by established communities...Maybe even my own perception is coloured too deeply by my own deep seated beliefs and I too, filter out the negatives...

Have an awesome day, an even better year and the most amazing journey imaginable 😃
