New growth on the Holly bush by solominer

These evergreen plants stick out when im wandering the forest. Since they do not drop their leaves they are easily noticed. If you brush up against one you will surely notice, as their leaves have pointed tips that will poke you good. They also produce fruits though its something ive only seen birds eat and I do not think humans can eat it.

There are many kinds of holly, some you can make tea from. Others that grow as tall as small trees, and others that are shrubs. I really enjoy seeing their berry clusters, as its quite a burst of red on the otherwise all green plant.

On this bush, you can see the fresh growth is a lighter green than the older growth. Their leaves are also more soft and not as pointed and sharp yet.

Happy 10th birthday Bitcoin! The genesis block was produced 10 years ago to this date. Looking forward to seeing it grow through out my life.
