Have you ever wondered why The Holy Ghost is referred to as the Comforter?.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 14:26 KJV

That was Jesus speaking to his disciples before He left.

Our God is a multifaceted God, and alot of Christians/Believers know that, atleast in writing but alot of them never want to know God beyond the Miracle worker.

They only want the God that owns the cattle on a thousand hills and the God that delivers them from harm, through His Grace and Mercy.

They forget that God (The Holy Ghost) is their comforter and that tag means He is there to comfort them.

Let's take a little English lesson by looking at the word comforter/comfort.

  • Comforter
A comforter simply refers to someone that provides consolation while comfort refers to A state of physical ease and freedom from pain or constraint.... Definitions according to Oxford dictionaries.

So from the definition above we can draw up our own definition by saying a comforter is one that gives comfort to those in need.

Bringing this definition back to our topic, The Holy Ghost is here as a comforter i.e He is meant to comfort you amongst other things, but how can He be your comforter if you have no troubles from which He will grant you ease?

So whenever you're going through troubles and challenges, don't cry or get depressed. Just turn to the one whose job it is to bring you ease and comfort "The Holy Spirit" and he'll surely help even as He brings you out of that troubling situation. Never forget

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Psalms 30:5

Focusing on the Psalms 30:5 the b part of that scripture we see that although weeping may endure for a night, but there's always joy in the morning.

So no matter the problem or hurt, you'll surely come out victorious.

Never Forget, God Loves You
