It's the conclusion that matter

Hello everyone, today am gonna share with you a piece I took from church today.
My title was inspired by @imbigdee 's post (Find the link to post here)
In his post, he says

a certain rich man committed suicide because he was lonely.
Why was he lonely?; he was a ritualist so couldn't find a wife to settle down with and have a family for himself.

Here, in this case, the man didn't think about his future when going in for the rituals. Mostly the don'ts of being a ritualist is not getting married, so if this man had thought about what would be the conclusion by the path he's taken just maybe he would still be alive.

Let's look at some scenarios from the bible.

LUKE 14: 28-30 (NIV)

28 Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?
29 For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, 30 saying, ‘This person began to build and wasn’t able to finish.’

From this scenario, we can see the bible opting us to think/plan well before we decide to do something because you will be mocked/ridiculed when you are not able to execute your plans and stop at midway

Scenario 2; Continuing with verse 31

“Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. Won’t he first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand?

This scenario also talks about the importance of planning well, how can a King go to war without some war strategies. I mean if a King goes to war unprepared that's some kinda formal suicide.. LOL

So in life, there have to be som laid out plan in everything you are doing or think of doing. Don't just jump straight in and say you are doing something without some plans as to how you execute it. Yes, always get your objectives set out and a vivid plan to counter al variables that may arise in your work.
