ENDURANCE

On the wings of time,
Lies the wisdom and opportunities in enduring.
For one who lacks endurance lacks wisdom,
And will miss the opportunities it holds.

Man as a being is impatient,
Wanting everything now or never.
But patience being a virtue,
Gifts’ treasures to those who wait.

For in endurance lies the test
Of our patience, our strength, and faith.
And upon the ones who endure
Will the treasures it holds be bestowed.

So when difficulties arise,
With no hope or help in sight,
Endure and remain steadfast,
For in the end a treasure awaits.
