Fake Leather Meets Soft Suede

Hey there!

At the beginning of September I bought myself some heeled suede boots. For a long time I wanted boots that were a little bit higher than the booties I'm usually wearing. And all of the sudden, there they were... I found my beige beauties, online, waiting for me (well, I like to think so...).

Since I'm a short person, I found it challenging to combine these boots. You may understand that I didn't want to look like puss in boots. In this post I will show you the way I put a look together with these not-easy-colored-for-clumsy-people-like-me-boots.

Killer skirt

These boots have got a soft look in my opinion. It would be pretty to combine them with similar colors like brown or an other tone of beige. But I thought they needed an oufit which would make them stand out from the rest of the look. So you guys might guessed already: YES, BLACK!

A few weeks ago, I found back this black leather look skirt in the back of my closet. I haven't worn it in a loooooong time, so I thought it was time to put that sexy short thing on again. Ofcourse, together with the heeled boots.

Getting dressed

The skirt and boots are picked. I just like the combination of the soft suede and the tough look of the black leather. But there was missing one thing: a top (yes, I know some of you wouldn't mind if I didn't wear one, but I think I'll get funny looks;)).

So, a top needed to be picked. A soft sweater would look perfect in winter! But for now a black blouse with buttons bigger than my eyes will do. The blouse is made of cotton and has white stitching all over, which makes it look different. And what's better than looking different, right? It's also a very flowy blouse which combines nicely with the tough, harsh looking skirt.

Puss in boots? I don't think so!

I'm pretty pleased with the total look. It's a possibility to wear these boots over a light blue or black jeans. But somehow I dont't think that's really my style.

Also, because I'm wearing see-through tights, it gets a light feeling. And we simply don't want to look plump!

So, I can't wait to hear what you think guys!

See you!
