馃悵 Transferring Nectar!

Here are two worker bees transferring nectar from one to the other. It can be a field bee returning from foraging and transfer to a house be to store. Bees take the nectar and dry it down to less than 18% moisture content before it is safe to cap with wax for protection and long term storage. Honey with a higher than 18% moisture content can ferment and be ruined. As nectar dries, the bees continue to move it and combine with other nectar at the same moisture level. Since large amounts of moisture is removed, a lot of comb space is necessary to spread the nectar out while it reduces.
