Idyllic Beach in Long Island, New York

This is my contribution to Wednesday Beach Challenge, open to all beach lovers who want to share their beach and marine photos. Rules and instructions can be found HERE.

I was born in July, Cancer child. Water is my element. Either pond, lake, river, or ocean... I am happy to live close by. However, my happiest place on Earth is THE BEACH.

Let me take you to a small and idyllic beach I found in Long Island, New York. Islip Town Beach.

This beach is conveniently located at just a few minutes drive from the main street and the crowded shopping area. A short stretch of yellow sand, maybe 300 yards. A cute gazebo-style sitting area and enough space to bring your beach chair and relax.

The water is warm today. I will always be fascinated by the waves... kissing the shore... There is an eternal love story between the sea and the shore, don't you think so?

Seagulls are a part of the landscape. This dude is following me, hopefully he doesn't see me like FOOD. :)

Ok... good... he found his food: a crab! He is savoring his tasty meal now!

Check this one out! He is a life guard! Ha ha... he looks like he is taking his job very seriously... more than humans do, because I don't see any life guards on duty today!

I can't get enough of this beauty...

There is a restaurant also, didn't try their food yet, maybe next time.

OHHH... sunset! I am so glad that I had the privilege to witness such a glorious golden hour!

I've been blogging on various platforms for several years now. My goal is to create new content every day, but also to bring back to life some of my older articles here, on Whaleshares. These photos are from a post that was originally published on Steemit, CLICK HERE to check it out and feel free to follow me there too! All pictures are mine, unless otherwise stated.
