I don't have any. Do you?

I see it over and over again where atheists show proof that there is no god. It is usually something like a mass shooting, child abuse, corruption, or rape that somebody will add-in "This is proof that there is no god." but today I saw someone throw that in after someone asked the question:

What crazy creature would design humans with irresistible impulses to commit ‘sin’, and then sends them to hell for it?

Somebody else replied that none would and added that it was just more proof that there were no deities.

But it's not proof, is it?

Maybe it's just me but I think we need to hold ourselves to the same, or a little bit higher, standard than we require of the people who claim to have "proof" of their deity's existence.

What we have are facts to back up how things probably happened and logical reasoning to come to the belief that there are no gods or higher life forces that are guiding us. We also have proof that many things in the Bible didn't happen as reported and ways to prove that certain things are false but so far as I know, we have no way to prove that there is no god.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think that it basically just an atheist's belief that there isn't a god vs a theist's belief that there is. As evidence goes, I am on the atheist side because I see far more proof that the scriptures are bullshit and the world did not happen the way they report it. That's just where I am at.
