'Red Voyage To The Light'

This red explosion with a yellow core hides quite a bit inside it if you know what to look for. The plasticity developed at the edges of the background plain is a place to start. Spatial space is created by the additional elements which partly cover the flattened part of the background. The various levels of element's tonal densities support the single-colour dynamics.

The almost invisible breath of magenta is the only element belonging to the cold part of the spectrum. There is not nearly enough of it to balance the scheme but its presence does quite a bit for the overall sense of vaguely expressed disbalance. If you can think it out of your mind, you will probably notice that the red would be way too strong without it. There is also an interesting progression in there. If we observe the atmosphere at the rim of the red-black, we'll feel a dramatic and aggressive vibe. Progressing toward the magenta-yellow centre, it changes into a playful, almost joyous reflection.

This closed abstract composition takes us inside. Maybe even help us change the way we're feeling. Try avoiding all the obstacles and venture straight into the light!

Enjoy! :)
