Weaving to fight against forgetfulness

If I had a dollar for every time someone said to me: "you look like an old lady weaving", today I would have more or less 50$, ah! they thought that I would say that I would be a millionaire? well no, the truth is that they don't tell me very often, because weaving ceased to be characteristic of those grandmothers of yesteryear and has become a trend.

I have liked knitting since I was very small and I am already so agile that without seeing the stitches I can make some parts of the piece in question, is something relaxing and fun, which makes you spend time without thinking about the vicissitudes and dilemmas of life even if it is for a few moments.

Weaving to combat oblivion, no doubt what we all want, preserving memories, good memories, of course, and weaving is a tool that can help us, this is not exclusively for women as dictated by paradigms, and also to release stress strongly exercised neurons.

Experts say that doing handicrafts can help those who suffer from depression, anxiety or pain, and can improve cognitive abilities and protect you from aging.

To weave you must count 1, 2, 3, decrease, increase ..., and now what do I do? I go with the second round and how was I going? to already, 1, 2, 3 how many points do I do? decrease, increase ... you must remember exactly each previous step and until doing it multiple times, which deserves to make use of memory.

Alzheimer's is a disease that degenerates your brain to the point that you no longer know who you are and those around you, I lived that experience at the hands of someone very dear and is worse for us relatives than for the sufferer, is something mostly hereditary and has no cure however we can delay its irreversible outcome a couple of years or a few decades.

It's never too late to learn to knit, and the skill is taken with practice, are repetitive exercises that help stimulate your brain and improve concentration.

Weaving involves a complex cognitive process, as well as moving the hands repeatedly, also starts the visual, sensory, auditory and language of our body, a challenge for the brain, because we do everything at the same time.
What I like most about this practice is that it makes us set goals for ourselves, visualize the finished piece and focus on reaching its end to simply delight us with the work we did.

Here on the net I've got myself with very talented people in weaving like @karinac and @carolinacardoza who make very neat articles with their creativity and their hands.
