So yes...: I didn't change much. This is mostly because, as I said, I started late and needed to post it before the end of the day. The first thing to do was to load up @welshpixie's "Pong 002":

As I was in a hurry, I decided to try only tweaking parameters instead of swapping out a formula. At first, though, no amount of tweaking got me anywhere. So I started again and tried resetting the parameters of the third formula, getting this:

I then zoomed out in the navigator window and hello! =) ...:

After this, it was just a matter of a little bit of parameter tweaking, framing it nicely, and then adding colour and texture... I wanted the inner part coloured a little more intensely with some mist effect, so I saved two sets of images and used a small bit of layer-magic in photoshop:

That did the trick =) ... If you'd like to see what you can do with this, feel free to take these parameters (below) and load them up in Mandelbulb3D (ask me how if you don't know). Also, beware. Using Mandelbulb 3D is CPU intensive - only use it if you have a powerful cooler installed.
