Magic The Gathering - Custom Token Kickstarter

Hello everyone!!

I hope you are doing well?

If you have followed me here, you might've remember a couple weeks back I shared a blog about getting invited to create the playmat for a big Magic The Gathering tournament?

Well after doing that and being at the venue where it was held thing just sort of took off.
I got request after request of players asking me if I made 'Custom Tokens'.
I had to answer 'Nope, sorry,, i don't have any at this moment.' too many times.. Which inspired 1 player to sort of take matters into his own hands.

He took it upon himself to start a kickstarter to gather the money to make me paint custom tokens! He 'Ray' works at an ad agency in Amsterdam and has contacts in the printing world.
He figured, if he could get me to paint cool custom token art, he could take care of the card designing, printing and shipping.

A little teamwork, so to speak!

The idea is to create a set of 14 custom tokens.
People, who back the kickstarter can choose which tokens they would like to receive, printed either normal or FOILED!.
Yes.. we found a printer who prints foiled cards! So they will look super nice!

One of the surprise sides on this Kickstarter campaign is that the money we raise is to put me to work... We haven't actually gotten the custom tokens yet.. This will be quite the surprise when you receive them in the mail.. Although we do plan on releasing a few cards before we send them out, so you all have a little sneak peak and get an idea of what kind of cards you can expect.

We are able to ship the cards all over the world, so it shouldn't matter where you are.. the cards will find their way to you!
