The Priest / Lightning Round (Ninety-nine words story)

His probity was unquestionable, he had been the village priest for twenty years.

He arrived one day at that remote corner of the country that no one visits, where people only go to the cemetery.

With his gift of people and young arms that helped to carry out actions beyond the catechism.

With the word of God as a balm to abandonment.

But the police, who had not been in the village for half a century, took him away in prison.

They accuse him of false identity, usurping the work of a priest and murdering his girlfriend decades ago.
