¿Have you ever thought what would happen if you could kill someone just by knowing their name and appearance? To ¿cleanse the world of criminals and evil people who harm it?, Well ¡do not say more! The famous anime that is already a classic for the generation of the 90s, was in itself one of the best animes of the year 2006 in Japan and 2009 in Latin America for its thematic Psychology, mystery and with a touch of supernatural, showing parts with content "Mature" in some of his scenes, the creator of such an epic work for not saying another word is the famous Tsugumi Ohba which was presented as a manga together with the Illustrator Takeshi Obata which was released in 2003 in Japan and Adapted to the anime by Tetsuro Araki; More than once personally I looked forward to sitting in front of the TV 9:00 pm if I remember correctly this masterpiece in the now extinct channel "Animax" the typical child in trance in front of our beautiful fat TV and not flat.

The beginning of the anime is somewhat dark in the world of the Shinigami in which anyone realizes that it is a dead world, lifeless, desolate plains with very few trees that are already dead by themselves, full of entities called " Shinigami "who seem bored in their world with nothing more than playing trivial games like dice. The trigger of the whole plot is our friend Ryuk, a Shinigami of pale blue skin and tight black suit motorcyclist with a twisted sense of humor but a bit funny. He drops to the world of humans his Death Note which is a book that his species uses to write down humans who are about to die and send them to "Heaven or Hell" which will be found by him later. .

Our main protagonist is called Light Yagami or Yagami Raito also known as "Kira" (Pseudonym used after finding the notebook) is one of the brightest students in all Japan, in my opinion at the beginning he is always somewhat bored of that world where he lives, because everything is a routine for him, in his eyes only see other people as chess pieces reaching the point in perhaps having 2 personalities or just 2 faces, one that inside is something dark with a great sense of justice, however oppressed and frustrated of not being able to do something, the other side is the typical face of a good student, son, classmate and person who hides the antihero who is inside, wanting to be the God of a "New World" as he so longs for, a world without corruption or crimes, or criminals, perhaps his own Utopia.

Other characters there are also and in themselves are very important in the plot then, its development and interaction with Light makes every minute you feel confused with the many things that happen around him.¿How he did it? ¿When he did it? ¿Why? and ¿Who was? These are the typical questions that everyone once asked themselves and if you have not yet watched the anime, you will. Some of the most important characters are:

L: The famous L, His real name is Lawliet L (Eru), is a private detective who has never failed a case, because he has solved cases of extreme difficulty, a curious thing is that he has never come to light because he prefers anonymity, they love the sweet things and their famous dark circles make it look like a person who never sleeps, although a bit joking, is a serious person in what he does and is the main contender of Light or better known as Kira by the media ... find the Death Note begins a massive cleansing of criminals which attracts the attention of the police body of all Japan and the world. From the beginning I suspect Light and continued to suspect until discovering the truth at the end of the first season of Death Note; A curious fact about L, is that it uses the name of Ryuga Hideki which is a very famous Japanese actor so that nobody discovers his real name.

Misa Amane: She is a great Japanese Idol who is very much in love with Kira, to the point that she gets to kill for him, curiously she also owns a Death Note and the Shinigami's Eyes which allow her to see the name of a person and how much life she has left, these are obtainable in exchange for giving half of her life to the shinigami possessor of the death note that she possesses. It is very manipulable because Kira to see it as a piece of chess more, falls in love and plays with it to the point that it becomes a somewhat twisted love between the two.

Rem: The owner of the second death Note, a companion of Misa Amane, is a shinigami with an androgen appearance because it is not known whether he is a man or a woman, however, it is somewhat protective with Misa and he hates that Light plays with her However, he can not do anything about it and it becomes another piece of the game, reaching the point of upholding Light in a certain way.

But… ¿What is a Death Note?

The famous death book, at first there was only one, the owner of it is Ryuk who dropped it "accidentally" to the human world out of boredom. When a Shinigami uses the Death Note in a human the remaining life of that human will be transferred to himself, something quite practical for them since we can deduce that they are "almost immortal" entities but curiously they can be killed however they do not know how. After the series, a second property of Rem appears that, like Ryuk, he let it fall to the human world, detailing more in the anime and the manga you realize that this is false, since there have been cases in which in ancient times some time some of them have fallen into the human world and may continue to exist.

We already talked about the use it has in the Shinigami, but ¿Humans what? ¿Are they also immortal? Well the answer is a resounding no, rather it is very bad for them, although it is simply used to kill it can also take you years of life if you want to have the eyes of the shinigami, the great power that comes with owning one can bring a feeling of euphoria very strong that makes almost crazy to its owner because he feels he has the power to do everything (This was the case of Light) But this is not all! This also has rules, two very famous and very scary, are:

"The human who uses this notebook can not go to heaven or hell (to nothing)."

"The owner of the death note will be followed by a shinigami, its original owner, until the day of his death."

We can deduce that the "Nothing" is not a very nice place to say, and being followed by a Shinigami is even worse since not seeing it you will know that your day has arrived.

Kira Vs L A duel with winner?

We already know all the end, however if you have not seen it I recommend you not read this.

As all good anime everything has an end and the most expected end was the duel between these 2 giants, their deductive minds, intelligent and indisputably geniuses among geniuses had to have a winner and in this case it was Kira, it was very, very complicated for He knows the real name of L, but even though he ended up murdering him, the undisputed genius is and will continue to be Lawliet L. Well, not only did he deduce things from Light more than once, but he became suspicious of him long before he had all the proofs , even deducting that Kira was a student and that he needed to know the name and face of the person to be able to assassinate her with very few and almost inconclusive patterns. In Kira's case he simply blackmailed the Shinigami Rem to be able to finish him off.

After so many entanglements, of so many plots and so many "It's not him but surely that's it" the end of the first season of Death Note ended with the death of L and with Light becoming "Almost" a god of the new world that he created rejoicing in victory Light gives the great checkmate to Lawliet, but this does not end well, because L is not left behind because after this intriguing first part Tetsuro comes with the second part of the anime in which not only Kira rules with an iron fist, but it appears more than one pitifully nothing is perfect because in the Shadows the apprentices of Detective Lawliet L come to catch the real Kira that his teacher could not catch the final.
