What are your plans for the summer? Mine are to kick ass!

I've retreated back into my cave. Too much being social and I end up sacrificing development, of both my art and myself.

I can feel how I'm half a step away from a big breakthrough and a step and a half away from a massive one. My situation barely resembles that of two months ago, forget about one year ago.

On the surface very little progress has been made. But I've succesfully integrated the me who jumps into the unknown and is ready for anything and the me who can navigate the complexities of society and interact with the world. This has resulted in a huge improvement in my overall health and in my focus. I've always had drive but never focus. I've always had passion but never peace. Now I have it all.

I'm almost ready to start performing again and I've decided that I'm going to have some kind of physical thing that people can take with them before the summer is halfway through, both musical and written. It will be probably rough and sloppy because of the situation but it'll be powerful, I can gaurantee that.

In any case, I'll be bringing all my work together and presenting it this summer, in as natural and direct a way as possible. I'd like to play lots of small venues and connect with everyone I'm meant to connect with here, through my art this time, rather than just conversation.

Now that a live set is essentially ready, I'm ready to play shows locally and once I've got a rough EP together, I'll be able to play some shows elsewhere! I look forward to seeing you in Thailand, and hopefully Spain, Portugal, Taiwan and around Japan sometime between now and this time next year!

What will you be up to this summer?

All my stories and songs are available free of charge (pay-what-you-want) at I+Everything. I would absolutely love it if you took the time to check it out.
