Version 2.0 is Live!

We are pleased to announce that Version 2 of the Whaleshares platform is now live and we have officially retired Version 1 of the platform. Over the last 9 days since the V2 Open BETA was released we have made several additions and minor updates to ensure things are in-line with future plans.

Separate Wallet App

The Wallet App now contains any transactions that require your private Active Key. This includes WLS transfers, Power Up, Power Down, Profile Setting changes, and Witness voting. You will need your Active Key to login to your wallet.

Latest News Updates

In order to keep everyone up-to-date on the latest news from Whaleshares and BeyondBitcoin, we have added a "Latest News" section to the profile feeds.

The @whaleshares account will continue to provide announcements pertaining to Whaleshares-specific updates, and the @beyondbitcoin account will provide information on all of our partner projects and initiatives that will benefit Whaleshares users.

⭐️ What's Next...

We encourage everyone to Read the Whalepaper for a thorough understanding of the vision and goals we have set for the Whaleshares platform. We are getting close, a lot has been achieved in only the first 6 months, but we're not there quite yet.

As we have mentioned, Whaleshares is still in BETA and development will continue over the next several months as we work to redefine the standards for cryptocurrency backed social media platforms. There are many complex pieces to the puzzle and a bigger picture of how what we are doing will come together to build an incredibly prosperous ecosystem for Whaleshares.

Once the goals set forth in the Whalepaper have been met, the Whaleshares DAC will be formed to help lead the platform and community from that point on. This is just the beginning... the best is yet to come!
