I'm taking you along with me as I create a new card deck for myself. I will create it with an American Indian theme as I did once before. What is Lenormand? - check out my previous article.

Card 29 - WOMAN

Just like with the Man card, there's not a whole lot of intuition going on this one. The woman is you, your partner or some female close to you.

  • If you are a woman, it may refer to you, a female partner or a rival.
  • If you are a man, it may refer to a partner (real or desired).
  • Think of both positive and negative aspects of the female gender.
  • Positive: carer, protective, nurturer; negative: catty or shrewd.

For more information on what this card means, check out Lenormand1's interpretation - for combining the CARD with any other card, check out the site: Learn Lenormand

For my new card, For my new card, I hit Google Images search, looking for something with CC0 (Creative Commons 0) licensing meaning that I don't always have to remember to credit someone - essential if I were to start doing paid readings with these cards.

I also had to find out which traditional playing card is associated with this card. So, here is my result:

It was surprisingly difficult to find a relatively simply image of a Native American Indian woman. Most of the pictures (in full regalia) are at powwows with busy backgrounds.

I like this picture because she is obviously proud of who she is, but hasn't given up her role as carer/nurturer of the next generation. I flipped the picture horizontally so that she might spy the man in a reading if appropriate (or she might ignore him altogether.) It can give a little more information that way.

In any case, I think she is stunning and makes a very good model for this image.
