A Witness You Can Look At - Announcing My Witness

So it's been just about 2 months since @isaria and I joined Whaleshares. In that time we've seen wonderful support and growth for our accounts as well as meeting new people, getting to know some familiar faces better, and generally enjoying our time here.

As some of you know, we both are active on the Steem community, but if you've paid attention over the last few months, you can see that the Steem platform is less and less a community platform, and is becoming a dapp and gambling blockchain. That's great if that's your jam, but if you're a normal content creator, it's not the most fun place to be.

Whaleshares has been the complete opposite. Growth is better, curation is better, and honestly I like the fact that most everything is manual. In these two months, our shares are at least 5x the amount of the other platform. We are growing faster, and we're helping people grow faster.

We've decided to make Whaleshares our home, we've been powering down at Steem and investing our future here, and THAT is why I am announcing my witness today.

So what is your plan and goal?

1. I have several initiatives up my sleeve but there is one that we will be launching very soon. There is a group of us that will be starting to recruit abandoned Steem content creators to Whaleshares so that they can grow and share as well. The official announcement will come in a few days and we're hoping for a rousing success rate.
2. Isaria and I have been hosting radio shows focusing on curation, games, and giveaways for well over a year. We will be starting one for Whaleshares as well. That will be launching by the end of the month, and like most everything else there will be several posts announcing the debut show. Bring your posts, bring your elevator pitch, your trivia knowledge, and a sense of humor!
3. A Token! This is the fun one. The Gamers Token has been issued, and right now we're building the account so that it can actually be worth something :) But in short time, we will be distributing the @gamers token. (full disclosure: That account is also set as a witness for the @gamers team and I am hosting it as well)
4. And there's a "secret" group that I am working with that has one goal in mind. We are focusing on an invite only basis project that is designed to help people that are in desperate situations become self-sufficient through Whaleshares. Right now we are working with 3 people to get them to a point where they no longer have to worry about income due to their living situations. Once these people are at a stable place, we encourage them to take users under their wings to spread the love.

What are the specs of your server?

@shane is hosted in France, @gamers is hosted in Belgium. They both have 8GB of ram, 100GB HDs, and should be set for a good long while. As they grow, I will be adding back-ups and eventually a full node.
