When the Mercy of God Speaks

Today I had a dream and I was given a Bible verse which is From the book of 2 Samuel chapter 6. I actually read the book of 2 Samuel 16 to18 yesterday which you can find my summary here and today, I was giving a chapter from the same 2 Samuel.

Yes, the story of Obed-edom is very popular as God turned his life around within the three months that the ark of God was taken to his house. God had mercy on him and instead of him to die just like Uzza did just because he tried to stop the Ark of Covenant from falling when the oxen shook He received God's mercy when the ark was placed in his house.

God works in a mysterious way. His anger was kindled when one wants to help out and another received His mercy when the ark was placed in his house and not the temple. Obed-edom was fortunate to had received the ark of the covenant but it was God's mercy at work. The mercy of God works in a way that might be a wrong one to us human.

God can turn the darkest situation to a joyous one once you believe in Him and have faith. Obed-edom was a worker in the house of God and a dedicated one. Due to his dedication, he received God's mercy and his life turned around.
God is ready to show you his mercy if you can but trust in him and have faith that you have received it.
