Hello, again my readers. Welcome to another episode of The Misery of the Bible and today, I want to speak about the knowledge of satan in the Bible. Some Christians believe that they know the outside and the inside of the bible. Well, you can know it but not more than satan but it is good and beneficial if you can know the Word of God to defend yourself from satan's deceits and temptations.

I want to remind us that satan was one of the angels in heaven then and he knows most things that we humans don't know. Before the creation of man, satan and other falling angels (devils) were there with God and after the Word was inspired which is the Bible, he took his time to study it along with his agents. Satan did not know what will happen tomorrow neither did any of the angels know when the rapture will take place so all satan is doing is to counterfeit the people of God with the Word of God.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. - 2 Corinthians 11:14 (KJV)

We can make an example of the temptation of Jesus as a sole reference. Jesus was lead into the wilderness by the Spirit of God after he had fasted for forty days and forty nights. He was hungry and satan wanted to take that advantage forgetting that Jesus knows the scripture more than him.

5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. 6 “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:

“‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’”

7 Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’” - Matthew 4:5-7

Anytime a Christian is being attacked and the person is not well prepared with the Word of God then satan will defeat the person with the same word. Satan will never tell you that the Bible is wrong but will mislead you with the word you are carrying.

Therefore, be a disciple of the Holy Spirit in learning about the Word of God so that you will not be misled and derail from the will of God. Read and study the scripture, read, hear and read again. There are so many false teachings today that are inspired by the devil and being backed up by the scripture. That is why we must always be the student of the Holy Spirit; pray for the right interpretation of the scripture especially when there is an argument among brethren. I pray we will not miss heaven in Jesus name.

Thanks for reading and stay blessed.
