You are closer to that breakthrough and miracle than you think. It's another week and you feel God's faithful promises has not materialized. There is a goodnews for you. His warranty over your life can never expire because He made you and He can fix you. Your salvation is nearer than you think.

How will you know you are close? There would be an unusual sense of weariness that will want to set in.

Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

You are going to be dealing with your biggest battle, your greatest discouragement when you are in the midst of your struggles. The devil will throw all at you when he senses you are closer in a bid to discourage you so you can throw in the towel. Don't give up because you are closer than you think. Leverage on the help of God's Spirit and the strength you have within you. We have more than often gone past several situations that we thought would be the end of us. This is another one.

When you are at the eve of your miracle, there is this heaviness that comes upon you and you think there is no strength to go on. Just like an athlete who is on the last lap, even when the strength ia failing, knowing you are closer you have to push yourself harder than you have ever done in previous laps. The moment you feel you are giving up, that is when to push harder. Don't make others the benchmark to make yourself think you are failing, let their progress push you to say, "I've come too far to give up now."

2 Kings 19:3 (NIV)

They told him, “This is what Hezekiah says: This day is a day of distress and rebuke and disgrace, as when children come to the moment of birth and there is no strength to deliver them.

Hezekiah sent that message to Isaiah. There would always be days like that when you try to seek for encouragement from outside but nothing would be encouraging. In fact, everything you see would discourage you even more.

On days like this, we can do what David did:

Psalm 42:5 (NIV)

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

And also in Psalms 43:5 (NIV)

Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my joy and my delight. I will praise you with the lyre, O God, my God.

Be your own prophet. Declare and talk yourself out of weariness and discouragement because moments like that will surely come and understanding that you are dealing with a God who keeps to His Word, who honours His Word more than His name gives a guarantee that no matter how long it takes, we are going to end in a good place. God never abandon His own.

When the people were sent to spy the land they were to occupy, they saw giants and came back afraid. It was only one person who gave a positive response as against those who said "We were like grasshoppers in our eyes". When you are going through tough moments, what you see matters. When the bills look like a giant, when the effort seem to be doing not so much but your perspective to things would determine how long you stay in that situation. It's never easy and trust me, often times it doesn't get easier either but the Bible says those that wait upon the Lord shall never be put to shame. You might not understand it yet but stay in there in faith.

When you have a giant sized problem, expect a giant sized testimonies just as David dealt with the giant. He said the God who helped him with the bear and the lion would help him overcome the giant. If God can help you with those small victories, you can be sure He would help you with even bigger ones. If he can help you with those little bills, He would deal with those massive bills. He is the God of all flesh and nothing ia difficult for Him to do.

Exodus 18:11 (NIV)

Now I know that the Lord is greater than all other gods, for he did this to those who had treated Israel arrogantly.”

When it looked like the problems are much, take your eyes off the problem and focus on God who is the problem solver. Don't tell your God how big your problems are, because He knows, rather tell your problems how big your God is.

When a woman is about to give birth, the strength she is required to use in pushing is always more than what she has ever done before. The pain also gets to the threshold or the peak for her and that is when more strength is needed rather than throwing in the towel. What you have birth is about to be delivered unto you but you have to push. When life is placing so much demands on you, remember that your strength is needed to birth those greater things. When the demand is increasing, then the Grace is sufficient for you.

1 Corinthians 10:13 (NIV)

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Be careful about your information sources. Are you going to believe the report of the people or the report of the Lord? Don't expect your conviction to enjoy a consensus. They don't have to believe it or see what you are doing sometimes. Sometimes you have to walk in that solitary place, holding on to God alone. The just shall live not on the conviction of others but by his or her own faith. There would be people in your life who will consider your change in status as a threat to their own life or their own relevance. They will always support the status quo to make you depend on them.

Don't give up because you are at the entry point of your promise land. In this world you will see tribulation but be of good cheer because Jesus has overcome the world.
