I felt it, though I couldn't explain,
I saw it, though I couldn't describe
the huge wall built between us,
the ice that carved itself to bring coldness to our hearts
and what made you suddenly look like a stranger to me.
I felt the abrupt disconnection,
how the ties loosened
and how the edges broke and I went afar,
till your voice rang out loud and
you said, "Well, come home".

Bridging gaps weren't easy,
but with everyone pouring out their minds,
and pointing out the places for amendments,
we started building;
effortlessly reminding ourselves of where we started
and where we are going.
Forgetting about the events that tore us apart
and concentrating on what we have to do together,
we both came home.

And I realised that no matter how bad things have gone,
the bad and old things are gone.
No matter how far we must have torn apart,
we can still come together in unity.
Any relationship can work when
both parties are ready to make it work.
No gap is too wide to be bridged
and no wall is too tall to be broken,
wrongs can become right
and rights can be better,
when everyone is ready to make it work.

Thank you for your time.

Still me,
