The recent news flooding the Premier League recently has been the take over of Newcastle by Arab Billionaire and everyone expected Newcastle to turn into a Manchester City kind of team in a few windows to come and I expected that too, albeit gradually, with the Financial fair play in mind.

A lot has been said about Steve Bruce but he was given the nudge to manage the team again against Tottenham Hotspur but it didn't end well for the Tyneside team as Tottenham won the game by 3-2 as they are still in search for their first win of the season.

Newcastle got off to a flying start with a goal from Callum Wilson but Tottenham responded with three goals before halftime from Ndombele, Harry Kane - his first goal this season in the Premier League and also Son. Newcastle United got a late consolation in the 89th minute after Eric Dier converted the ball into his own net. The takeover hasn't stopped Newcastle from continuing in their current form of no win.

Newcastle United got pumped for this game and you could see how badly they needed a win because everyone is being watched with microscopic eyes now and no one wants to be replaced at the club, especially with the financial power at play. They got off to a flying start in the 2nd minute when Callum Wilson pounced on a good delivery into the box to power home a brilliant header to give his side the lead.

Tottenham wouldn't want to be outshined too and have a lot to prove under their new head coach as well and they responded emphatically when Ndombele collected the ball just outside the box. He perfectly strolled in, sorted out his feet and unleashed a powerful effort that found the back of the net with so much delight and sweetness to drew his side level in the 17th minute.

5 minutes after, Harry Kane showed his class and got his first goal of the season to give his side the lead for the first time in the game in the 22nd minute. A lovely long pass found him as he beat the offside trap to produce a looping effort over the on-rushing goalkeeper as the ball found its way into the back of the net. That's pure genius and a good striker's instinct at play.

Harry Kane turned provider to stretch Tottenham's lead just before the halftime break after he was perfectly found inside the box and he unselfishly flashed the ball across the face of the goal to pick out Son who had the easiest of the job on the day to slide the ball into the back of the net. He was perfectly positioned and he gave Tottenham a 2 goal cushion in the 3rd minute of the first half added time.

Newcastle United got one back to reduce the deficit in the 89th minute after Newcastle United delivered a lovely freekick into the box which was headed home by Eric Dier but Tottenham Hotspur held on and got the needed 3 points and the question mark continues for Newcastle United as the sense of optimism keep dwindling as they languished in 19th position on the log.
