Not alone, he decided to settle for a puff;
A puff turned to many puffs and inhalation of drugs
He wanted the puffs to take away his tears
But the puff wasn't enough to make him laugh
He wanted something that could make his Joy last
But all that came was the money and joy consuming drugs
He wanted to be free from mistakes and regrets
So he settled for cigarettes
He longed for perfection and detested rejection
So he added some injections
All these couldn't help him
He then realized that true happiness comes from the ability to face challenges
They also come from embracing changes
And disengaging from all forms of addictions
With these, he was able to achieve his dreams
