A year ago, you came
You left just as you came on board
Your light was put out even before it shone
I looked around, hoping for your clone
You left just like a rushing wind
You came as cool as you pleased
But you left, oh! You left like a storm
Your memory lingers still
Your presence was for a short time
Yet, it has been etched deeply into our hearts
What is life without you in it?
You left everyone with what could have been
You left us with days and years to count
Just in sweet, loving memory of you
