I believe in the best of humans, yes everyone
I believe we can do better than we have done
I see limitless potentials in every human
No man is useless as to have nothing to offer
Except for certain politicians though hahaha (jokes)
I see a lot of opportunities; boundless opportunities which we are capable of
But we need to see it in ourselves for it to emerge
We need to see beyond the walls and the limitations
Beyond our needs which drives us on the path of selfishness and greed
Maybe we need to recite words of affirmation to remind us who we are, like a creed
When we act good or evil, best to remember it's a seed
But some people take delight in seeing others bleed
We need to stop making excuses for the things we should do
We need to stop passing the blame and
We need to start taking responsibilities for how things turn out
When you see what others are clearly not seeing
It shows it is for you to see and fix; or point it out for others
No man is useless as to have nothing to contribute to this life
I believe the best of you, but do you believe the best of yourself?

It baffles me to see humans behave in ways you never deemed possible. Well, maybe we sometimes expect too much of certain people and when they finally come short, it gives us this look of disappointment.

Some people are just very comfortable with causing chaos and they thrive on it. Maybe they want to seek relevance or they like being in control, I don’t know whatever their excuse might be, but really I am not really bothered with their reasons because I still won't understand it. The end doesn't always justify the means because a lot is often lost in between. We sometimes expect the best of humans and yet they end up disappointing themselves and it hurts. Indeed, life doesn’t come with instructions and we keep seeing different aspects to humans as we grow and go through life.

I have seen the despicable character of humans and yet I get surprised even more as new things keep popping up. Humans tend to be experts when it comes to inventing horrors. I have seen life with the number of years I have spent and the surprises never seem to end one bit. We expect to see the best of humans but we should be ready to see their worst too. Life is in two folds; the good and the bad... should I add the ugly? I have enjoyed the best of humans and I have been at the receiving ends of their gross misbehaviour too.

A lot of time we expect to see the best of others and when they act otherwise, we get hurt and rightly so. We get hurt the most from people we least expected but we need to understand that humans will always be humans. We need to make allowances for human behaviour. We need to understand that we are all different; shaped by different exposures and background, so it is logical that we should think differently.

I used to get angry when I see people do things I least expected but now, I just smile and turn to the other side, if I wasn’t too angry enough to tell the person what he or she has done wrong. You can pick the vibe from my attitude towards what you did. You will know without me saying words that would now make it escalate. Sometimes I think we are getting too old to be told what we have done wrong when we certainly know but we feign ignorance most of the time for many reasons.

The world is in this state because we have embraced a way of life that is alien to what humans stand for and until that changes, we might not see more changes to how degrading some people would act.
