On Tuesday, I reached out to an old friend that we did service year together. That was such a long time ago. We spoke several times, if not most of the time, after service year and down the line. She was really helpful to me back then, as I was to her. I noticed her sister just joined telegram and i asked for her number again, because two years ago, I had issues with my phone and lost most of my contacts.

We spoke at length via WhatsApp chat and she kept pouring her heart out and all she had gone through in the moment we lost touch. It was so easy to pick it right up because she remembers, and I remembered. We were free and there was no arrogant talk. In fact, she still acted naughty with her sarcastic tone. It was as if I never left.

Use this day to reflect on those who have helped you in life and reach out to them just to say thank you. You have no idea how much it would make them feel and how liberated you will be. Send a text, place a call, do anything. You don’t have to shower them with words of praise and all, just call them to check up on them, and they will pick the signals. Even a “thank you” alone text would do.

I am terrible with one thing, I don’t fancy people thanking me. Hahaha...and if you must, once is enough and let it rest, but I love appreciating people, and most people know this. So if those people are like me, like I said, you don’t have to shower them with praise, just call to check up on them, and they will appreciate it. Let them feel you, let them stylishly know you remember!.

We all know how Nokia 3310 phone was, back in the day. That phone was pretty expensive that time. As good, durable and as strong as that phone was, it has no memory. That is why you don’t see people rush to buy it anymore. If anyone decides to buy it, it could be as a “backup phone”. I even heard the new 3310 brand, for Android is out. That is nice. Why the upgrade? That is simple; because the last one has no memory.

If you have no memory in appreciating those who helped you to climb, then you will soon be relegated. Very nice and easy.

Not appreciating or remembering those who have helped you is a clear sign of life’s amnesia. It shows you have no memory.

What would you do today? Remember how you got to where you are, and let it bring down your “shoulder pad”, so as to stay humble and kind.

Don't feel proud because you have bread. Just remember, someone owns a bakery.
