Brokenhearted, I saw her crying yesterday
She said there was no reason to move on
Claiming they have been together for year's
How people come into our lives and just leave
It took her a while to warm up to him
She finally did and now he is gone
A bitter pill for her to swallow or stomach
She could never understand what went wrong
I understand her plight and what she has formed - the bond
It is sometimes hard to move on but it is the best
How have you been living before this person came?
You took him serious but to him, you are just a game
A relationship he took just because of the fame
He got you as a trophy, now he has you in a frame
It is hard to understand and tough to take
Life is like this sometimes and we have to move on
The stakes are high for you to throw away your dreams
Over someone who left and never made any effort
There are some things we might never understand
But what choice do we have in life than to heal
Give it time, take a vacation, be in the midst of friends
Be in the midst of those who genuinely love you
The healing process would he halved
I won't water down your pain or experience
I won't ever ask why you were down and out
You invested your time, emotions and body
Yet, it seemed as though it was never enough still
Don't let the inability of someone to see your worth
Make you doubt yourself or give your best again
We are all different and someone would appreciate you
Different strokes for different folks but we move on
It is never easy, I must say - it's a long walk
But there is a big difference between hard and impossible

Thank you for your time.

My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.

Still me,

My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.
