"Nanoplasma" | Gallery: Fine Art 🎨 [original art]

When I originally created this, it was not meant for my Fine Art Gallery, but it soon found it's way in there.

This is because it started it's life as just another dIFS Pong. (A light, fun game we artists who use fractals play sometimes, where we create something and then give the parameters to our Pong partner so they can tweak it and send it back). The only other pong that has made it to the Fine Art Gallery was Boiled Logic.

With this, my pong partner had combined the formula "amazingIFS" with "boardIFS" ! Those who use Mandelbulb 3D can imagine how challenging it might be to get anything useful out of those two together.

Anyway, I was very, very happy about how this turned out. I tweaked the colours a few months later and finally thought of its title.

-- Ray Kurzweil

The Creation Process:

As with all pongs, I loaded up my pong-partner's previous pong:

But it was getting late and I wanted to relax before bed so I just screenshotted all the images I saved while going through formulae, trying to find something worthy... At first, I tried only changing parameters but leaving the formulae as they were... Didn't work! ...

I then put boardIFS by itself again and started changing the transform formula (amazingIFS) for others, didn't work! Changed back to amazingIFS and swapped out GearIFS for two others... Nothing working! ... So then got rid of the two, and chose something simple, discoballIFS, and then I was onto something =) ...:

When I finally found the discoball/amazingIFS combo, I was too frustrated to remember to take progression screenshots, but remembered to take one at least, before I added the hard shadows:

And as usual, here are a few high-res. shots to see the details:

Please let me know what you think... =)

Thank you for rewarding my post 🌌🌠
