Healthy alternative to Pizza
Recently I shared that I had made some healthy pizzas for dinner for my mom and sister.
@lizelle said she hoped she'd see my pizzas. Guess we were so hungry that night that I forgot to take photographs.
I went back on my old posts and found these photographs and my recipe.
Ingredients:
Small Lebanese bread or Tortilla or Wrap
Grated Cheese
Salsa
Yellow pepper
Red and yellow Chilli
Tomatoes
Baby Spinach
Calamata Olives
Capers
Chicken
Origanum, black pepper, and Himalayan salt
Prepare oven to 150 degrees
Place wraps on a baking tray and coat with salsa, grated cheese, and origanum
Next Pizza style add all other chopped ingredients cut into small pieces.
Place in centre of the oven and bake for 10 mins and then turn heat up to 180 for the last 5 mins or alternatively place on grill for the last minute or so
... and finally, relax and enjoy a taste sensation that is even better than a traditional pizza and so much healthier !!
So, although I posted this some 3 years ago - it is still a definite favourite for the family.
