Apple & Kale Smoothie w/ Chia Pudding

You know what?! How about them green smoothies? Usually when I think of any smoothies, strawberries and bananas are the only fruits that come to my mind, the combo is classic and delicious, but there's a world of smoothies out there that I have yet to discover, especially when it comes to green ones. So I got a whole bunch of kale and spinach and I am ready to get into them 🌿
Ingredients:
- juice of 1 orange;
- 1 cup kale leaves;
- 1 green apple;
- green spirulina (optional).
for the chia pudding:
- chia seeds;
- organic milk;
- raw honey;
- unsweetened cocoa powder.
garnish:
- blackberries;
- kale leaves.
💡 Tip! Make it vegan! Substitute organic milk for a plant based milk.


Directions:
Blend kale, apple and orange juice until creamy. Add some green spirulina for the vibrant green color if you don't mind it its flavor.
Make the chia pudding by letting the seeds soak in the milk and honey mixture for about 15 minutes.
Top the smoothie with some berries and kale leaves.
