An Escape - Poetry

An aching soul,
Craving for peace,
From tortures of this world,
That by no means,
Knows any end.

Dimly lit,
Narrow roads,
This is not easy,
But a necessity.

From far,
That lighthouse,
Is all that is,
A guiding path,
A thing of stability and beauty.
