Whaleshares | Drama | FUD | Quality Content | Right v Wrong

My oh my. My head is getting dizzy with all this drama. First, I would like to say, yes I started a fuel fight with @haejin, which I apologized for. A few users have been spreading a lot of FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt). Whether it's about the @contest's account, what is quality content, how the platform should operate, what's right and wrong, etc. And honestly I'm tired of it.

FUD

Does it really help? FUD is different than what some call whistleblowing :joy: . FUD doesn't help much, or at all, is just causes conflict, and splits in communities. Whistleblowing is usually done in rare occasions when something really unethical, or unmoral is happening. Now begs the question is there anything needing to be whistleblown? For me, no there isn't. Is there anything to be FUD'd about? For me, no there isn't.

What is Quality Content

First off, not all realize this, but part of the original design is not being just another blogging platform. To me it's more about community, and friends, and interacting, not picking and choosing who should earn what. For me I would love to see Twitter Fiction, also know as short stories under or equal to 140 characters. Now this seems really short and shouldn't earn anything. But really a story in 140 characters that is good, takes a lot of time and editing. But who is to judge the value? Voters, it's a trick question. If people like it they vote it. Not everyone has to like the content put onto Whaleshares, but if people like it, if there's a niche, then I'm all for it.

@contest's account

One of the core principles of dPOS is voting. If "the people" want @contest's in the top whatever witnesses, they vote. If they don't, they don't vote. It's that simple. As of this posting, the account is 21. It used to be in a higher rank. People apparently are starting to use their votes :joy: . BTW everyone should use their witness votes. It's one of the core privileges you have. If not use proxy's like me, @kennybll. BTW multiple times this topic had been brought up, and multiple times the answer was given, which states @contests isn't KKs nor used personally for KK's gain. Instead it's original use, to my understanding, it's to help contest posts gain more visibility.

Get the fact's right people

While I'm for opinions, I don't think spreading FUD, or even something half true is good. If you know something 100%, and it's outright wrong, I'd like to know. But if you don't know all the facts, and they're provable, then either find the proof, or shudup. Most things are just speculation, trying to do God knows what. But personally I don't see the benefit.

We All Have One Thing In Common

Or at least one. We want this platform to succeed. Now what is this platform? Well first off it's not just a blogging platform, it's better. Second off this platform is still being developed. It is still being worked on day and night by the developers trying to make something better for the world. My advice for everyone, quit complaining over small things, and wait for this platform to be at it's best potential when the dev's are done and it's handed over to the community as a DAC, then is the majority of people thing something should be changed for all means add 20 hardforks.

The main point of this post is that we all want the same thing, Whaleshares to the moon right? How do we get there is another thought. If people start spreading FUD everywhere, where will we end up, another one of those failed coins that has 0 value or potential? Just be patient, make friends, build the community, and make the world a better place.

This is the part where I would like to put this video.

This has a nice message everyone should listen too.

Thanks for reading and hope this helps,
@kennybll
