#100DaysOfCode Day 14: Select Tags

imbigdeePosted for Everyone to comment on, 5 years ago2 min read

Today is day 14 of #100DaysOfCode, an initiative by @zoneboy to help people of Whaleshares learn how to code and to also, promote the platform on twitter. On the first day we started with introduction, we have learnt about media and input types. Today is about select tags.

To make it easier for we students, the tutor started with an example to explain today's topic and gave us a task to do. You can find the example and task here. I conducted my task successfully as shown below.

I started by opening the link.html file with a Visual Studio Code editor. I cleared out yesterday's code to write out today's own. I wrote the code successfully as shown below

You can see the introduction of <select> and </select` tags. I saved the code on the editor and ran it on the browser to show I did the task successfully.

Thanks to the tutor for explaining in details how to successfully do the tasks, he has made the work simpler than expected. It keeps getting better, 86 more days to go.
