My Way to Inspire Children
On the 31st of July I was invited by #BgTravel to Park Rila, Dupnitsa city. They are the travel agency I worked for last year. Mainly with children between first and fourth grade.
That day I talked in front of 100 children, divided by four groups. The subject was "Magical properties of pre-christian symbols" and "Hidden message in glagolitsa" (first old-Bulgarian alphabet).
I am grateful for the opportunity to pass the knowledge to the next generation. To get their attention and make the experience special I wore an authentic nosia (traditional dress) from Kyustendil region.
After the talk I offered henna and some of my art in the form of prints, greeting cards and hand-made headbands. I drew on at least 40 children with henna. All for five hours. To work with children can be exhausting and empowering at the same time.
Before I left an amazing view struck me. It deserves a separate post. Stay tuned!
