I continue with yesterday’s post on how to enjoy your wealth. If you are a Christian and you feel guilty buying things you like or want because there are poor and needed people around. Then this post is for you.

...Continued from part 1

Proverbs 10:22 shows God gives wealth without painful toil so Christians should enjoy wealth. God doesn’t put you to test when you are blessed and there’s sorrow, because Gods blessings come with no sorrow.

God didn’t create anyone poor. How you use your brains and talents is what will determine whether you will be poor or rich. You can enjoy your wealth even without being a billionaire.

The master key to enjoying your wealth is consistently living simultaneously in contentment and perpetual increase of your purchasing power.

Contentment shouldn’t keep you mediocre. Being ok with where you are isn’t contentment, that is survival. My cup runneth over means you shouldn’t be greedy, be content with what you have and happy but at the same time work towards having more. You need to be able to celebrate having 100$ if you want to have 1,000,000$ or else you add sorrow to yourself. When you have contentment, you remain in integrity and nobody at the same time, but at the same time, you work on increasing your purchasing power.

According to the Bible, you don’t owe your parents anything. God will never ask a child why you didn’t take care of your parents. Psalm 127:3 shows children are gifts from God to parents and so God will hold parents responsible for their children and children being the gifts won’t be held responsible for not taking care of their parents who are the caretakers.

When you are 18, it’s no longer your parents responsibility to take care of you, and they do that out of love and as such, you can do same thing for your parents out of love or appreciation, but it’s not your responsibility. Be firm, don’t succumb to pressure. Be generous, but don’t be silly.

Acts 20:32 shows before God will give you an inheritance, He has to build you up. We are heirs with God and the inheritance you can get depends on how building forty up you are. If you aren’t built up, the blessings will crash you. The blessings of God are also the snares of the devil, so you need to be built up for the blessings so it doesn’t destroy you. 3 John 1:2 shows that you need to prosper in your soul before your physically prosper. Prosperity of the soul means you need to grow in knowledge and shun the things which negatively affect your blessings.
