Hello Hive Open Mic family. After a long time, I'm happy to be back at open mic community and I want to start by saying Merry Christmas to you all and I wish you all a happy new year in advance.

I'm happy to participate in the #141 of the Hive Open Mic with the theme Winter.

I'm a Nigerian and in Nigeria, we don't experience winter, the only thing that we experience around this time that is close to winter is harmattan. Harmattan is a dry and dusty wind which blows from the Sahara over the Atlantic coast of West Africa in December, January and February, being a hot wind in some areas and a cold wind in others. Soy nigeriano y en Nigeria, no experimentamos el invierno, lo único que experimentamos en esta época que está cerca del invierno es harmattan. Harmattan es un viento seco y polvoriento que sopla desde el Sahara sobre la costa atlántica de África occidental en diciembre, enero y febrero, siendo un viento caliente en algunas zonas y un viento frío en otras.

When harmattan starts in December, there is only one thing that comes to everyone's mind and that is the Christmas season. The season comes with a lot of merry and happiness and cos of this I decided to render on of the most popular Christmas song titled "Silent Night"

Cuando harmattan comienza en diciembre, solo hay una cosa que viene a la mente de todos y es la temporada navideña. La temporada viene con mucha alegría y felicidad y por eso decidí interpretar una de las canciones navideñas más populares titulada "Noche de paz".

The song was composed in 1818 by Franz Xaver Gruber to lyrics written by Joseph Mohr in 1816.
