Best Edit Wins!

In this edition of the Deranged Contests I would like to see your photo editing skills. On Steemit I was part of a group of photographers that would host photo games every day and one of my favorite games we would do is when we had other people edit one of our images and then saw how they interpreted the photo. It was cool to see the different styles and stuff that people came up with.

So here is the photo I would like to see you all take and edit to make it your own. It is a picture of my daughters eye. Do not save the image here and edit this one though. Here is a link to my google drive that has a high resolution JPG and a RAW file for you to use for editing.

When uploading your images to Whaleshares, keep in mind that the maximum file size is 4mb, so you will need to reduce the size of your image prior to trying to upload the image into a post or as a comment. You can always host the image on another site as well and paste the link in your post. One thing to keep in mind though with images is that high resolution images use up people's data if they are on a network that charges them data fees, so try and be considerate when it comes to your file sizes.

There are many different ways you can take this challenge, from turning it into a piece of art or even going a little dark with it and making it creepy.

The choice really is yours on how you choose to edit the image. Now some of you may be thinking that because you don't have the "fancy" editing software you will not be able to compete in the challenge. Well there are plenty of options out there for you to use other than Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

Gimp is a free photo editing tool that you can download. It is available for both MAC and Windows and also has a mobile version.

Fotor is another free editor. It has high scores for the color correction ability and for being user friendly. It also has a mobile version.

There are many other free photo editors out there, so you really have no excuse to not participate. So let's move on to what you can win.
