Val d'Isere is a beautiful town in the French Alps, tucked into a picturesque valley of river Isere. Located at an altitude of 1850 meters it is a great destination for both - summer and winter. A small town full of flowers that offers some of the most beautiful views at the surrounding mountain peaks.

The area where Val d'Isere is located has the densest concentration of ski resorts in the world. Tignes, Les Arcs, La Plagne, Les Trois Vallées and many others are located in a relatively small area besides Val d'Isere.

And, one of the toughest stages of the Tour de France race has been roaring through Val d'Isere since 1938. Cyclists pass through this picturesque Alpine town as they descend from the highest paved pass in the Alps - the legendary Col d'Iseran at 2,770 meters above sea level.
