"Curiosity killed the Jon" (Original artwork)

What's up you god damn cave dwellers. I haven't gotten around to sharing any of my fiancee's artwork in awhile, so I figured I should since that allows me to be a lazy fuck while also putting out some enjoyable content that actually requires talent. The story behind this piece is a bit odd. A new subreddit popped up over on reddit in recent times, called /r/imsorryjon. Basically, one mans comic/meme of making a lovecraftian horror themed Garfield has spawned an entire subreddit (They just recently hit 200k subs) with dozens to hundreds of submissions each day. I stumbled upon this weird little rabbit hole and put my penis right into it to see what I could find. And, boy, did I find some really amusing and cool stuff. Most of the artwork posted there is just great, and I'm glad such a random thing came into existence.

So, my being the testosterone filled man I am made sure to show my fiancee the subreddit, because she has a giant boner for anything Garfield. She ended up loving all the artwork I showed her, and found herself inspired to do cocaine and bang on the nearest dumpster like it was a set of bongo drums all night long try her own hand at doing some Lovecraftian Garfield art. Which leads us to this masterpiece of wetness. She has a very big place in her heart for Curious George, perhaps I'd even go as far to say she would tounge punch his fartbox. So, of course she combined her love of both into this. I personally really do love it, and figured some of you may get a kick out of it.

The painting itself was done with watercolour paints and a watercolour marker to finish it off with the line work. She worked on this while I was recently in the ICU, meaning she was sitting in a dark, depressing room that had several people down the hall screaming all throughout the day and night. So, an absolutely perfect spot to do this shit in, right? I believe she had this finished in around 2 or so hours, so she didn't have to spend too much time on this little guy. She's planning on doing more horror/lovecraft Garfield art, so I'm sure I'll be sharing more and more as she does.

Anyways, I'm gonna go back to trying to recuperate and being a fucking mummified sloth. I'll catch all you filthy whores later.
