The funniest thing

So I have started a youtube channel for scrapping and I have 2 subscribers and very modest views with 0 likes on any of the videos. That's fine. I make the videos because I like it and I don't need your pity or your stupid likes. The funny thing was on my video about scrapping the Avantron, I got two dislikes. I am pretty sure they came from the Facebook members of the Vintage Electronic Test Equipment group that I went to for help while selling a spectrum analyzer.

(it has been neglected for many years.)

I offered anything I had to them for $10 plus shipping because they seemed very helpful and deserving. Nobody wanted the Avantron because it was going to be over $100 to ship it as it was 33 lbs. So after two weeks of being told it wasn't worth shipping, I scrapped it and made a video. I then shared the video with them because I thought they might be interested in it and I told them that if they saw anything inside that they wanted, I would ship it to them for the cost of postage.

Within an hour of posting I had a bunch of reactions with most of them being a sad face. Why are you sad? Did you have some sort of affinity for this machine that the company who made it dissolved the year it was made? Are you sad because nobody wanted to pay the hundred dollars to have it? Maybe it was sadness for the leaky battery that destroyed a few of the circuit boards and rotted out one of the feet?

Anyhow, I think it's funny that the only reactions I got from anyone in 5 videos were thumbs down. I must be doing something right. lol

Maybe I'll have a contest or something for Whaleshares users for comments or something. I will think of something. Maybe not good, but something.
