Tomorrow makes it the 23rd premier league matchday this season, we’ve come a long way since the premier league campaign for this season kicked off and so far, it has been an amazing journey and an exciting one as well. As always, there are lots of exciting premier league match kicking off tomorrow. Man City continue to hope and remain optimistic in their title race as they host Crystal Palace at home tomorrow.

Man City have found the much-needed consistency as they continue to fuel up their title race hopes. They are currently on 3 straight wins and are looking to make it 4 wins out of 4 when they host Crystal Palace at home tomorrow. It hasn’t been an easy season for them as they would have hope for considering how good they were last season, however, they are still very much on track in all competitions and will be aiming to make this season a successful one. The premier league title race as it stands at the moment looks like it is going to one direction, however, there is still a long way to go and technically, the title is still very much up for grabs, hence Man City are still hoping that Liverpool slips at some point.

Expected Formation and tactics… Man City will be expected to set up in a 4-3-3 formation. Nothing much to be said here as we all know how Man City will set up and play at home. Considering that Crystal Palace will most likely set up to counter-attack, Man City might come up with a strategy that will help them find spaces to get the job done.

Crystal Palace are not doing badly at all this season if you look at the teams above them on the table and the points difference. However, their last 3 games haven’t been great as they’ve only gotten 3 points out of their recent 3 premier league games. They face a huge and very difficult game at the Etihad later tomorrow against Man City, a game which a lot isn’t expecting anything from Palace as Man City is in a different league at the moment. Nevertheless, Crystal Palace have shown time and time again that they are capable of upsetting any of the big teams and will be aiming to upset Man City at the Etihad tomorrow.

Expected Formation and tactics… Crystal Palace will be expected to set up in a 4-5-1 formation. A very difficult game for Palace, however, Crystal Palace on their day can get the job done against the big sides. Their gameplan will most likely be to capitalize on counter-attacking chances to cause Man City problems. This post can also be found on my scorum blog
