The sketch for this painting was made sometime ago...however the painting is more recent work. That is how it works sometimes....there are always ideas in queue, as it were, waiting ttheir turn.

For those interested in the details......

The idea for this painting came from trying to stay in practice with regard to drawing whilst on holiday. Pears are willing subjects and readily available...thus a natural for Bleujay's ideas.

The materials used.....Arches Watercolour paper, WinsorNewton Watercolour tubes, and Watercolour brushes.

Size of work.....38x56cm / 15x22in.....also known as a half sheet.
