This Image was clicked during My visit to badami in the 2015's. The Monument you see in the background is the Boothnath Temple. The Term Boothnath means the Lord of the Booth/Ghosts which is another name of Lord Shiva. The Temple is built right next to the vast Lake Agastya. Not only I was impressed by the architecture of this temple, I just loved whole setting around the temple. The huge rocky cliff behind the temple and the lake in front make this spot an attraction to landscape photographers. I immediately started getting the "Indian Village" vibe once I got to this place. It was so simple, quite and beautiful. I would anyday prefer to be in such a environment over a really commercial and crowded place like The Taj Mahal.
I saw some of the village boys swim in the lake, I always love adding any form of life/living things in My Images. To me it brings more life to picture and make it less boring. Hence I decided to go ahead and capture these boys in the foreground of the landscape. Just when i got close to them, I saw some of these boys were getting ready to dive in. As you can see, I managed to click an image of one of these boys diving while others looked on.
