Walking school is possible the best way to learn

There is also another reason why I applied the walking sessions in the forest instead of sitting with my kid in her room and going though her homework.In the beginning of the previous school year she started to stutter without any reason, while previously she did not. She also became very forgetful and her handwriting was very bad. It looked as something was happening that should not, and the whole situation was very uncomfortable.

My daughter has an auto-immune form of diabetes so every change in her status is a red alert.

Her immunity is weeding out insulin production cells that organize the absorption of carbohydrates in our bodies from pancreas because of the "programming mistake" after colliding with an unknown virus.
The same virus that she combated in only two days placed me in the hospital and almost killed me. I would prefer that I developed the diabetes, but it was not a case. My daughter's immunity was just too strong and made a stupid mistake. For today's science and traditional procurement her condition unlike the classical diabetes can't be healed with the diet and exercise, is irreversible and she needs artificial insulin to live.
Some children enter the state of remission when immunity flips the switch and the condition temporary disappears, but it usually it is not the case. The condition is known from the ancient Egypt and only in the last hundred years it is treatable and children can lead near normal life. Before the invention of artificial insulin no matter what has been tried - medications, diets, avoiding carbs in diet... children were dying without exception.
Solution they have today is high tech, but far from perfection, still it keeps her alive and I am grateful. She has the insulin pump and sensor for four months now. I am not really happy with the sensor thing, but pump is good.
From the time she started receiving the artificial form of insulin, year and a half ago, she doubled in size, enter normal and painless puberty and she is never ill. Still I was afraid that her condition is influencing her to stutter, forget homework and develop lousy handwriting.

But she didn't have any other neurological symptoms, so after a few weeks nothing was happening I concluded that she needs more demanding mental practice to force her brain to serve her in a more functional and faster way. I tried many things and all of them were time consuming and this one worked the best.

On average I spend 2 hours per day with my kid in the forest discussing her subjects, either walking or sitting under the trees. She insist on this and prefers this way of learning. There are no books and no papers. I do not use any accessories or teaching tools besides my voice and verbal demonstrations. But still my kid memorizes everything and listens with interest. When we need to do abstract things, she is required to imagine them in order to manipulate vivid imagery in her mind and thus so seek the solution.The ambient and fresh air also play great role in this technique.

This all forced her brain to work more, think, organize, pre-plan and imagine on the higher level and the results were stunning. He stuttering completely disappeared, memory became twice better and handwriting improved so much that is now completely unrecognizable.
